Summer And Bikinis 🌞👙

Summer is here and you know what that means! It's time for some new swimwear!

National Bikini Day is July 5th.

To celebrate this national holiday, I wanted to tell you all about some of my favorite shops for bikinis and swimwear. But first, a little history of this national day.

Since July 5, 1946, women have been wearing bikinis. National Bikini Day marks the anniversary of the invention of the two-piece bathing suit.

The bikini made its debut in Paris. Louis Réard was the designer of the bikini. Réard presented the smallest bathing suit the world had ever seen and called it a bikini.

It was named after the Bikini Atoll which is where the United States conducted atomic bomb tests. Réard hoped this fashion statement would be explosive, like the atomic bomb tests on the Bikini Atoll.

The bikini was actually banned in many countries for several decades. It wasn't until the 1960's that the United States began to accept the two-piece swimwear.

Now-a-days, bikinis come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and fabrics. They also come in a large range of prices, from inexpensive to designer prices.

I have so many bikinis. I should definitely make a video showing you all them. Let me know if that's something that you'd like to see!

Now, I've complied a list of my favorite shops to get beachwear for pretty low prices. All I ask is that you please use my links to make purchases so that I can collect an affiliate commission of any sales made, whether it is swimwear or not. Please and thank you! ☺️

You can shop at these shops below for low priced swimwear, bikini or one-pieces.
