Period.
In the American slang world, we started saying "Period". We say it as a way to emphasize the previous comment. In the Spanish slang world, we have BEEN saying that. In Spanish, we say "punto y aparte". I remember saying and hearing others say that since I was a tiny thing. It is in songs. It is said all over the Spanish community.
I find it funny how NOW is when I hear the American community use "period".
This is a short post I wanted to write. It came to mind and thought I should write about it.
